On the Road Again! Traveling the World with Timmons Group!

At Timmons Group, we’re no strangers to a friendly photo competition, and our teams are nowhere near camera shy. Each year, our spectacular HR team hosts a Traveling with TG photo contest, and we get to see where in the world our teams go.

Our folks grabbed their Timmons Group gear and took off on a new adventure with only one thing in mind—where to take the perfect picture. Here are some of our favorite submissions.

Let’s take a look at the 2022 Class of #LifeAtTG Travelers!

Liz Scheessele (AKA “Winner of the Photo Contest”) is the stormwater services group leader for Hampton Roads. She trekked all the way to Poon Hill in Nepal to capture this masterpiece of a photo! Thanks for taking us with you, Liz!

What’s better than one summer? Two! Amelia Weaver, a quality assurance engineer in our Geospatial Technology division, visited the “Land of Two Summers,” better known as the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas.

Danielle Brown, a project manager in our Richmond traffic analysis and planning team, took a trip down the Riviera Maya in Mexico! At Timmons Group, we love the beach! Can we be any more Pacific? Check out our coastal openings here!

On the longboard again! Just can’t wait to get on the longboard again! Gary Johnson, a principal in our structures and bridges design team, took his longboard on a cross-country trip and made a pit stop in the mountains of Colorado.

Dalton Gormus, a recruiter in our Richmond Boulders administration team, can be found rocking her poses at Lake Simcoe in Canada. Namaste, Dalton!

It’s gator holding season! Jenny Andrews, an admin in our Richmond office, traveled all the way to the Everglades in Florida to see the official state reptile. We commend her bravery with these scaley critters (eek)!

John Russell, the group leader of our risk and remediation team, said joust do it to visiting Pena Palace in Sintra, Portugal.  A knight in shining Timmons Group armor if we do say so ourselves!

Why not both? Riki van Niekerk, a project engineer in our Charlottesville land development team, couldn’t pick just one vacay spot, and we don’t blame her! In South Africa, Riki seas-ed the day, while In France, she found Paris-dise.

Sadie Pope, a project engineer in our structures and bridges design group, decided to take the scenic route during her trip to San Diego, California. She’s Timmons Group’s slot canyon crawling machine!

You can catch Mac Mckenzie, senior project manager for Richmond’s economic development group, repping his Timmons Group softball gear at Fenway Park. We think we know who his favorite team is. Looking great, Mac!
