Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance

Our comprehensive packages offer more to our employees so they live healthily in the present while also planning for the future. Part of our medical insurance includes a Health Savings Account that is used to pay for qualified medical expenses with pre-tax dollars. In addition to the contributions our employees make, Timmons Group provides support through HSA contributions.

Retirement and savings benefits

We believe that our employees deserve a strong base for planning their futures. Timmons Group is proud to raise the bar with a 401(k) plan for all eligible employees that allows them to earn an additional 5% in salary for their retirement. Timmons Group may match up to 50% of the employee’s contribution up to 10% of total compensation beginning on the first day of employment.

Life insurance and short and long-term disability

Timmons Group’s life insurance and short and long-term disability packages help our employees when life doesn’t go as planned. At no cost to our employees, we provide short-term and long-term disability that will pay 60% of our employees’ incomes if they’re out of work due to a covered accident or illness. Timmons Group also provides family planning with maternity and paternity leave.

 

 

Family planning

We know that our employees’ families are the core of their worlds, and that’s why we’ve invested in our maternity and paternity benefits, nursing mothers, and flexible hours for staff when family needs arise. Timmons Group provides full-time expectant and adopting mothers maternity leave through our short-term disability plan. Mothers will receive 12 weeks of pay at 60% with no elimination period. In addition, we provide expectant fathers with 5 days of PTO for the birth or adoption of their child. Nursing rooms can be found in all our offices and we accommodate nursing mothers with break times throughout the workday. In addition to our maternity and paternity benefits, families are also encouraged to enroll in Timmons Group’s flexible spending account (FSA) for dependents and a 529 college savings plan.

Employee Assistance Program

Timmons Group supports our employees’ mental health by providing an employee assistance program (EAP) for employees and household members who wish to seek mental health care. This program allows each employee access to speak with a mental health care provider up to 4 times per topic of concern each calendar year for free.

Accrued PTO, holidays, and flexible hours

Our employees work hard, so we honor their diligence with accrued paid time off (PTO) and flexible hours. Employees are gifted 8 paid holidays are provided 15 days of PTO and can accrue more each year based on number of years with our firm. We also encourage flexible hours and work from home options for our employees.

Continued education and tuition assistance

In addition to the many trainings and peer led workshops we offer, Timmons Group encourages and supports employee education through our Tuition Reimbursement Program. This program is designed to financially assist employees who voluntarily pursue a course of study or individual courses that help them grow professionally.
